Our Customer Service Office is the place to start if you have a billing question, need to establish new service, are moving to a different location, need to report service outages, or need other service-related assistance.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ACCEPTANCE OF PAYMENTS BY BANK CARDS**
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 16, 2016, a 2.75% Convenience Fee will be assessed by the card processor for payments made on utility bills using plastic cards. Notification was provided to customers on the back of your 11-30-15 Statement (back) of this impending change. A direct mailing sent customers 12/24/15 provided additional information and included an Authorization Form to sign up for continued bill “auto pay”. You can avoid the card processor fee by switching your automatic payment method over to Bank ACH/“E-Check”. Please return the new enrollment form by January 16, 2016 to sign up for continued “auto pay” of your bill.
The Utility will continue to accept cards for payment over the phone or in person at our office; the 2.75% convenience fee will apply. If you alternately provide the information allowing us to process the payment as a Bank ACH/“E-Check”, you will not incur the fee.
UTILITY BILLING STATEMENTS:
Bills are issued at the end of each calendar month and ARE DUE IN FULL BY THE 25th OF THE FOLLOWING MONTH.
A 1% finance charge will be assessed if payment is not received by due date. Services are subject to disconnect if a statement is overdue by more than 15 days. Disconnect notice delivery fee and service reconnect fees may apply.
**Please be aware payments must be RECEIVED by the due date. We have seen some long delays with the mail (not the fault of Nome postal personnel!) – both on bills we send out arriving to customers and on receiving your payments back. If you are using postal mailing or a bank bill pay service, where they are mailing payment on your behalf, you should mail or schedule the payment with sufficient time for it to make it through the mail system.**
